DESCRIPTION:
Join our sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to helping customers make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. As an Account Manager I, you will develop and maintain customer relationships while driving sales growth within an assigned area. You'll work with a diverse customer base spanning research, clinical, and commercial production sectors, leveraging our industry-leading portfolio of scientific products and solutions. This role offers excellent career growth potential in a supportive environment where you'll be valued and rewarded for your performance.

You will develop strategic sales plans, conduct customer visits, provide product demonstrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, managing pricing and profitability, maintaining accurate sales records, and serving as a trusted scientific advisor to customers. You'll also monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and represent Thermo Fisher professionally at industry events.

REQUIREMENTS:
. Bachelor's Degree required, no prior experience required, preferably in laboratory/scientific products industry
. Preferred Fields of Study: life sciences, chemistry, or related scientific field
. Valid driver's license
. Laboratory or research experience is highly valued
. Strong scientific aptitude and ability to understand complex technical products
. Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
. Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
. Proficiency with MS Office suite and CRM systems
. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and business objectives
. Ability to travel 50-70%
. Fluent in English additional language skills valued

. Self-motivated with customer-focused approach
. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
. Experience with laboratory equipment, consumables and workflows preferred
