Job Description
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs - Plan and manage the transportation of raw materials and finished products - Negotiate contracts with logistics providers and ensure compliance with agreed terms - Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any delays or issues - Manage and maintain inventory levels to meet production demands - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of logistics processes - Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers - Oversee a team of logistics staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards in logistics operations
Principal Accountabilities
Manage and coordinate all logistics activities including transportation warehousing and inventory management to ensure efficient and costeffective operationsbr Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes focusing on reducing costs and improving overall efficiencybr Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory levels ensuring stock availability and minimizing discrepanciesbr Collaborate with vendors and solution partners to enhance supply chain performance and resolve any logistical challengesbr Utilize data analysis and interpretation skills to drive informed decisionmaking and continuous process improvementbr Foster a culture of entrepreneurship and people excellence within the team promoting professional growth and developmentbr Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all logistics operationsbr Lead initiatives to build and manage highperforming teams focusing on operational excellence and achieving organizational goals
