Role Description This is a full-time, on-site/online SAT Verbal Faculty role. The SAT Verbal Faculty member will plan and deliver engaging lessons for Reading and Writing sections, including vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and test-taking strategies. The role involves designing and updating lesson plans, practice exercises, and mock tests aligned with the latest SAT format. The faculty member will track student progress, provide detailed feedback, and conduct doubt-clearing sessions in small groups and one-on-one as needed. Responsibilities also include coordinating with academic counselors, supporting parent interactions on academic performance, and contributing to curriculum improvements and academic workshops.

Qualifications

  • Strong command of English language, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and advanced writing skills.
  • Proven experience teaching SAT Verbal, standardized test prep, or high-level English curriculum to high school students.
  • Ability to design structured lesson plans, practice materials, and assessments tailored to diverse learning styles.
  • Excellent classroom management, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to keep sessions interactive and engaging.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret student performance data and customize support to individual needs.
  • Comfort with using digital tools, online testing platforms, and basic productivity software for teaching and reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, Humanities, or a related field; high SAT / ACT / equivalent test scores are a plus.
  • Demonstrated passion for mentoring students, with a student-centric, inclusive, and growth-oriented approach.
