SAS Admin

We place infrastructure and platform engineers who manage and optimise analytics stacks for high-availability, secure, and performant delivery.

Role: SAS Administrator On-site in India. This role is ideal for engineers experienced in administering SAS platforms (SAS 9.x / Viya), managing grid deployments, and ensuring secure, performant analytics environments for business users.

Role & Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAS environments (SAS 9.x and SAS Viya) across Linux and Windows servers, ensuring production stability and compliance.
• Administer SAS platform components including Metadata Server, Workspace Server, Object Spawner, Web Applications, and SAS Studio; manage deployment using SAS Deployment Wizard.
• Operate and tune SAS Grid Manager: configure grid nodes, manage load balancing, job scheduling, and ensure high availability and failover.
• Implement and maintain authentication and authorization integrations using LDAP/Active Directory, SSL/TLS, and role-based access controls.
• Perform proactive system monitoring, patching, backups, recovery testing, performance tuning, capacity planning, and incident troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with DevOps, DBAs, Data Science, and support teams to deploy releases, automate operational tasks, and document runbooks and SOPs.

Qualifications: On-site role in India. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is preferred. Proven track record in SAS platform administration with hands-on production experience; strong troubleshooting and stakeholder-collaboration capability required.
