Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP WM Consultant with a proven track record in the Fashion and Retail industries. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Warehouse Management (WM) solutions, with a strong understanding of industry-specific processes such as omni-channel fulfillment, returns management, value-added services (VAS), and seasonal inventory handling. This role requires a blend of technical SAP WM knowledge and a keen insight into the unique challenges and opportunities within fashion and retail logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the full project lifecycle for SAP WM implementations and enhancements, from requirements gathering and blueprinting to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Design and configure SAP WM functionalities to support complex warehouse operations specific to Fashion and Retail, including:
- Omni-channel fulfillment strategies (e.g., store direct, click & collect, e-commerce).
- Returns management (reverse logistics) processes.
- Value-Added Services (VAS) such as kitting, labeling, and garment processing.
- Seasonal inventory management and allocation.
- Handling of fashion-specific attributes (e.g., color, size, style).
- Optimize warehouse processes for inbound (GR, putaway), internal (stock transfers, physical inventory), and outbound (picking, packing, shipping) operations.
- Integrate SAP WM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP, FMS/AFS) and external systems (e.g., WCS, carriers, e-commerce platforms).
- Conduct detailed business process analysis, identify gaps, and propose SAP WM solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments (enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms) and work closely with technical teams.
- Perform system testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide comprehensive end-user training and documentation.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the stability and performance of the SAP WM system.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP WM/EWM functionalities and industry trends in Fashion and Retail logistics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP WM Consultant.
- Mandatory experience in the Fashion and/or Retail industries, demonstrating a strong understanding of their unique warehouse and logistics processes.
- Proven expertise in SAP WM configuration, including storage types, storage sections, picking strategies, putaway strategies, movement types, and transfer orders.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable, particularly with embedded EWM or decentralized EWM.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
