Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP VMS (Vehicle Management System) Consultant with strong implementation experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in SAP VMS implementations and a solid understanding of automotive business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP VMS implementation projects
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to vehicle management processes
- Configure SAP VMS module as per business needs
- Integrate SAP VMS with other SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI
- Provide functional specifications and support development activities
- Conduct system testing, UAT support, and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and post-implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of SAP experience with hands-on SAP VMS implementation
- At least 1–2 full lifecycle SAP VMS implementations
- Strong understanding of automotive industry processes (vehicle sales, logistics, dealer management)
- Experience in integration with SAP SD/MM/FI modules
- Good knowledge of SAP configuration and customization
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in S/4HANA environment
- Prior experience in remote/global project delivery
- SAP certification (VMS or related module) is a plus
