SAP VIM Consultant (OpenText)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support the implementation and configuration of OpenText VIM solutions integrated with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Configure VIM components such as:
• Document Processing (DP)
• Invoice Capture Center (ICC) or Intelligent Capture
• ArchiveLink or Document Access
• Exception handling workflows
• Business Center for SAP
• Integrate VIM with SAP FI (especially AP), MM (PO invoices), and Workflow modules.
• Customize validation rules, DP indexing, and approval workflows.
• Perform system testing, data migration, and cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot VIM and SAP-related issues during project and post-go-live support.
• Provide user training and create documentation for end-users and administrators.
• Collaborate with the OpenText team, SAP BASIS, ABAP developers, and business analysts.
• Follow best practices for security, compliance (e.g., SOX), and performance optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in SAP VIM (OpenText) implementation or support.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI (AP) and MM integration.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting VIM Workflows, DP Validation Rules, and OCR/ICC tools.
• Knowledge of SAP ArchiveLink, content repositories, and document types.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge of SAP Workflow, ABAP debugging, and Fiori apps related to VIM.
• Exposure to SAP Business Center, Vendor Portals, or e-invoicing platforms.
• OpenText or SAP certification in VIM (preferred).
