Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Vertex Interface Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP development, specifically in integrating Vertex tax solutions, to enhance our tax compliance processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement SAP Vertex interfaces for tax compliance and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Vertex integration.
- Perform system testing and validation of developed interfaces to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders regarding SAP Vertex functionalities.
- Document interface specifications, design, and user guides for future reference.
Skills and Qualifications
- 11-15 years of experience in SAP development, particularly with Vertex tax solutions.
- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP modules related to finance and taxation.
- Experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for interfacing.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements as they pertain to Vertex.
- Familiarity with data mapping, transformation, and interface design best practices.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques to troubleshoot interface issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
