SAP Treasury Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Treasury Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) and relevant experience in the Insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) functional requirements, configuration and support.
• Understand and map treasury processes within the insurance business.
• Handle Treasury processes including:
• Transaction Manager
• Money Market
• Foreign Exchange (FX)
• Derivatives
• Exposure Management
• Hedge Management
• Cash Management
• Bank Account Management
• Liquidity Management
• Configure and support treasury transactions, valuations, accounting and settlements.
• Work on FX exposure, hedging and hedge accounting requirements.
• Support integration of Treasury with SAP FI/GL and other relevant modules.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
• Coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements and interfaces.
• Participate in testing, UAT, issue resolution and production support.
• Work closely with business users, finance teams and treasury stakeholders.
• Prepare functional documentation and support implementation/rollout activities.

Insurance Domain Requirement

• Prior experience working with an Insurance company or Insurance business processes is mandatory/preferred.
• Understanding of treasury requirements specific to insurance organizations.
• Experience with insurance-related investment, cash, liquidity, FX or financial risk processes will be an advantage.
• Candidates with SAP Treasury experience in Life Insurance / General Insurance / Reinsurance are preferred.

Required Skills

• 6–10 years of SAP Treasury Functional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP TRM.
• Good knowledge of S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC.
• Strong understanding of Treasury and Risk Management processes.
• Experience in FX, Money Market, Exposure Management and Hedge Management.
• Good understanding of Treasury accounting and integration with FI.
• Experience in implementation, rollout or production support projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• S/4HANA Treasury experience.
• Hedge Accounting / IFRS 9 knowledge.
• Exposure Management and FX Risk Management.
• Cash and Liquidity Management.
• Bank Account Management.
• Insurance industry experience.
• End-to-end SAP Treasury implementation experience.
