Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Process Consultant to join our dynamic mobility aftermarket (MA) team. The SAP TM Process Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing transportation management processes within SAP TM. This role blends deep functional expertise with strong process understanding across logistics, supply chain, and order-to-cash / procure-to-pay cycles. The consultant works closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to translate transportation requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead workshops and engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document SAP TM requirements.
  • Drive end-to-end project lifecycle activities including blue printing, scoping, planning, designing, testing, training, deployment and post go-live support.
  • Provide expert consultation and design for TM processes including planning, execution, freight order management, carrier selection, freight settlement, rating & charges, and analytics.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Integrate SAP TM with SAP ECC / S/4 HANA, EWM, GTS, etc.
  • Support TM planning engines such as optimizer, manual planning and load consolidation.
  • Support SAP implementations, upgrades and rollouts in S/4 HANA landscape.
  • Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
  • Provide post-go-live support and ensure smooth business continuity.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants or analysts.
  • Stay current on best practices in transportation management and new technologies.
  • Effective collaboration with logistics, cross functional project teams and business organization with strong stake holder management skills
  • Communicate assertively to ensure clarity, alignment and timely decision making

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information technology, Business administration, Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP TM modules in ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Experience in full lifecycle implementations and support of TM module.
  • Experience in integration of TM with other cross modules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP TM certification.
  • Experience in global rollouts of source to pay in automotive space.
  • Experience with carrier integration, EDI / Idoc, or API based freight collaborations.
  • Familiarity with tools such as MFALM, SAP Solution Manager, Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Experience working with a global team.
  • Excellent communication and articulation skills
