Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management solutions integrated with SAP SD, Logistics Execution (LE), EWM, MM, and external logistics systems. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of transportation planning, freight management, shipment execution, freight settlement, and SD integration

Key Responsibilities

• SAP TM Functional Consulting
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to transportation and logistics.
• Conduct fit-gap workshops and solution design sessions.
• Configure SAP TM processes including:
• Freight Unit Building
• Freight Order Management
• Carrier Selection & Tendering
• Transportation Planning
• Load Optimization
• Freight Settlement
• Charge Calculation
• Shipment Tracking & Monitoring
• Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and business process documentation.
• SAP SD & OTC Integration
• Design and support end-to-end integration between SAP SD and SAP TM.
• Configure transportation-relevant settings in:
• Sales Orders
• Deliveries
• Shipping
• Route Determination
• Billing
• Support Order-to-Cash processes involved:
• Order Management
• Delivery Creation
• PGI
• Billing
• Transportation Execution
• Ensure seamless freight cost transfer from TM to SD pricing and billing.
• Integration & Technical Collaboration
• Work closely with SAP SD, MM, EWM, LE, and Finance teams.
• Support integration using:
• IDOCs
• EDI
• Third-party Carrier Systems (Nice to Have)
• Warehouse Management Systems (Nice to Have)
• Collaborate with ABAP developers for enhancements, forms, reports, and interfaces.
