Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Functional Consultant with 6 to 12 years of overall IT and SAP experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP TM implementations, support, and enhancements, with a solid understanding of transportation planning, execution, freight management, and logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to transportation and logistics processes.
- Design, configure, and support SAP TM solutions including:
- Freight Order Management
- Transportation Planning & Optimization
- Carrier Selection & Tendering
- Freight Settlement
- Charge Management
- Transportation Execution
- Configure SAP TM master data, planning profiles, freight units, freight orders, and settlement processes.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams during implementation and support activities.
- Perform system testing, defect resolution, and user training.
- Support integration with SAP S/4HANA, EWM, MM, SD, and external carrier systems.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with development teams for RICEFW objects.
- Provide production support and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 6 to 12 years of overall SAP experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on SAP TM experience.
- Strong knowledge of SAP TM Functional Configuration and Business Processes.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP TM implementation project.
- Good understanding of logistics, transportation, and supply chain processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded TM preferred.
- Knowledge of integration with EWM, SD, MM, and GTS is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's / Masters degree in Engineering,
- SAP TM certification is desirable.
- Experience working in global delivery and support environments.
