Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP Transportation Management solutions to optimize logistics and transportation processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP TM.
- Configure and customize SAP TM modules to meet business needs, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP solutions.
- Conduct testing and validation of the implemented solutions to ensure functionality and performance standards are met.
- Provide training and support to users on SAP TM functionalities and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP TM applications and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and SAP TM innovations to continuously improve processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10-20 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management processes.
- Proficiency in SAP TM modules, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Experience with integration of SAP TM with other SAP modules like SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of transportation planning, freight cost calculation, and carrier selection processes.
- Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
