We are looking for a
FunctionalSAP TM Consultant/Senior Consultant to be part our dynamic team in India and contribute to
implementation, global rollout, and support of the SAP Transportation Management module across all Signify locations. Key duties include
requirements gathering, S/4HANA TM configuration,
testing,
monitoring and providing expert
functional support to business users.
Your Responsibilities
- Implementation & Configuration: Independently manage and execute activities for implementation, roll out, support, and upgrade projects within the SAP TM module across all modes of transport (Road, Rail, Ocean & Air)
- Business Process Analysis: Conduct business workshops for requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and translate complex business needs into functional specifications and optimal SAP solutions.
- Integration Expertise: Ensure seamless integration between SAP TM and other critical SAP modules such as SD, MM, EWM, FI, GTS, BN4L as well as third-party systems like Project44, Descartes using technologies like EDI or APIs.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test cases, lead unit and user acceptance testing (UAT), manage defect tracking, and support go-live and hyper care activities.
- Monitoring: Proactively monitor application performance by regularly checking failed XML's, IDOC's, queues, etc. and take corrective and preventive actions.
- Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation (functional specifications, configuration guides, training materials) and conduct end-user training sessions.
- Problem Solving & Support: Provide expert functional support, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely manner, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Mentoring & Teamwork: Guide and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices within the project team.
We believe you bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in SAP logistics modules with a strong focus on SAP TM
- Experience in either implementation, support or global rollout for shipper scenarios for domestic and international transport.
- Good understanding of end-to-end processes like Procure to Pay, Inter and Intra Company Stock Transfer and Order to Cash.
- Hands-on knowledge of S/4HANA and SAP TM including configuration.
- Functional knowledge of order management, freight execution, charge management and settlement process.
- Familiarity with optimizer planning, conditions, various profiles and incompatibilities.
- Basic knowledge of BN4L (Freight Collaboration, Dock Appointment and Scheduling, Global track and trace).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)

- Knowledge of technical frameworks like BOPF and BRFplus.
