Role Description

This is a contract on-site position for a SAP TMS Consultant based in Chennai. The SAP TMS Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP Transportation Management solutions, managing master data, integrating SAP with other systems, and optimizing business processes. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver effective and efficient solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP Transportation Management System (SAP TMS/TM).
• Proven experience in a business-facing role, working directly with business users, logistics teams, and management stakeholders.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP TMS configuration, implementation, and support.
• Solid understanding of transportation, freight management, carrier management, route planning, and logistics execution processes.
• Experience with SAP TMS integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP LE, SAP GTS (preferred).
• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, UAT, and production support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• SAP TMS/TM certification preferred.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects.
• Knowledge of transportation optimization, freight settlement, and logistics network integration.
• Experience working in global supply chain and transportation environments.
• Strong business process understanding.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and SAP solutions.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
