SAP TM Technical Consultant – Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Technical Consultant to join our team on a contract/full-time basis. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TM) technical development and integration, with hands-on experience in ABAP, BOPF, FPM, PPF, BRF+

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support custom solutions in SAP TM.

Develop and enhance reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows (RICEF objects).

Configure and develop BOPF, FPM, PPF, and BRF+ components within SAP TM.

Create and maintain ABAP programs, enhancements, BADIs, user exits, and custom developments.

Develop and consume OData services, applications, and Web Services.

Integrate SAP TM with S/4HANA, EWM, SD, MM, and third-party systems.

Develop and support IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Proxies, and APIs for system integration.

Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

Perform debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.

Prepare technical design documents, unit test cases, and deployment documentation.

Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in SAP TM Technical Development.

Hands-on experience with BOPF, FPM, PPF, and BRF+.

Knowledge of SAP TM business objects, Freight Orders, Freight Units, and Freight Settlement processes.

Experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services, and APIs.

Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

SAP TM certification is an added advantage.

Experience working in end-to-end SAP TM implementation, rollout, or support projects.

Knowledge of logistics and transportation management processes.
