SAP TM Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

SAP TM Design & Configuration:

• Lead the design and configuration of SAP TM functionalities including:
• Transportation planning and scheduling
• Carrier selection and tendering
• Freight order management
• Freight settlement and cost calculation
• Transportation cockpit and charge management
• Customize master data: locations, resources, transportation lanes, and calendars.

Project Delivery & Support:

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Conduct blueprinting, system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and go-live support.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements to the SAP TM system in both standalone and embedded S/4HANA deployments.

Integration & Collaboration:

• Ensure proper integration with SAP ECC or S/4HANA, particularly SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
• Coordinate with technical teams for developments (e.g., BOPF enhancements, BRF+ rules, Fiori apps).
• Work with external vendors/carriers for EDI and interface testing (e.g., tendering, status updates).

Training & Documentation:

• Prepare functional documentation and training materials.
• Train business users and super users on TM processes and functionalities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain or Logistics modules.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP TM 9.x or embedded TM in S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of logistics execution, transportation planning, and freight cost calculation.
• Experience with order-based or delivery-based transportation planning.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to SAP GTS, SAP EWM, or SAP LBN (Logistics Business Network).
• Knowledge of BOPF framework, BRF+ rules, and Fiori.
• SAP TM Certification (nice to have).
• Experience with international shipping, ocean freight, or parcel management.
