Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP TM solutions. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, logistics teams, and technical teams to deliver efficient transportation processes and ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Configure SAP TM functionalities, including transportation planning, freight order management, charge calculation, and transportation execution.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and support end-to-end SAP TM implementation and deployment activities.
- Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Prepare and execute SIT/UAT test scenarios, validate results, and manage defect resolution.
- Provide production support, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with business users to improve system performance, process efficiency, and user adoption.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
- 5–15 years of overall experience, with strong hands-on experience in SAP TM functional consulting.
- Experience in SAP TM configuration, requirement gathering, solution design, and functional testing.
- Good understanding of transportation planning, freight management, and logistics business processes.
- Experience in SAP TM implementation, integration, deployment, and production support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
