Description

The SAP TM Consultant will be responsible for supporting and optimizing transportation processes within SAP S/4HANA. The role includes system configuration, issue resolution, and collaboration with logistics teams to enhance transportation planning, execution, and freight cost management. The ideal candidate will provide strategic and hands-on support to stabilize operations, resolve recurring issues, and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end to end transportation processes including planning, execution, freight booking, and charge calculation.

Configure SAP TM components such as planning profiles, carrier selection, freight orders, and integration with S/4HANA.

Troubleshoot TM related issues across planning, optimization, settlement, and system interfaces (PI/CIF).

Support system enhancements, test cycles, and deployment activities for transportation and logistics flows.

Work with logistics teams to improve freight cost accuracy, routing efficiency, and operational performance.

Required Skills and Experience

Hands on experience in SAP TM configuration and support, with 5 to 8 years of experience.

Strong understanding of transportation planning, optimization, charge calculation, and freight settlement.

Knowledge of integration with S/4HANA and related interfaces (PI/CIF).

Experience with testing, issue resolution, and logistics process improvements.
