Job Title: SAP Techno-Functional Lead

Location: Talegaon, Maharashtra

Experience: 8–10 Years

Qualification: BE (preferred)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Techno‑Functional Lead with strong hands‑on expertise across SAP MM, PP, MRP, and FI, along with exposure to manufacturing operations involving multi‑stage assemblies, machining, and complex production environments.

This role will act as a key bridge between business users and external SAP partners, ensuring successful analysis, design, testing, implementation, and support of SAP solutions across multiple functional modules.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP Support & Functional Operations

Manage end‑to‑end SAP activities across MM, PP, SD, QM, and FI modules.

Conduct detailed requirement analysis and prepare templates / data structures as needed.

Validate new developments, configurations, and enhancements in the QAS system.

Coordinate UAT with business users and initiate production transport requests after approvals.

Monitor and resolve SAP incidents across L1, L2, and L3 support.

Provide hands‑on SAP troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and functional guidance.

2. Cross‑Functional Coordination & Communication

Act as the primary liaison between internal departments, business users, and external SAP vendors.

Collaborate with production, procurement, planning, QA, and finance teams to resolve process issues.

Ensure smooth integration of SAP processes across multiple functions to support operational continuity.

3. User Engagement & Training

Conduct end‑user training across multiple SAP modules.

Support users in daily SAP transactions, reporting, and compliance with process guidelines.

Promote user adoption through documentation, SOPs, and training materials.

4. Data Management & Reporting

Prepare and maintain MIS reports, MRM data, and KPI dashboards.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of SAP master data and transactional records.

Support business teams with analytical data extracts and operational reports.

5. IT & Procurement Coordination

Manage quotation comparisons, PO creation, invoice booking, and follow‑ups with finance.

Coordinate with vendors for service delivery and billing queries.

Preferred Experience in Manufacturing

Candidates with experience in the few of the following areas will have a significant advantage:

• Metal fabrication processes
• Multi‑stage or multi‑level assembly lines
• Multi‑supplier supply chain management
• MRP‑driven production planning
• Complex BOM structures and engineering changes
• Production sequencing / shop‑floor operations

Technical Capabilities Required

• SAP MM: Procurement, inventory management, STOs, vendor management
• SAP PP: BOM, routing, production orders, capacity planning, shop‑floor control
• MRP: Material planning, replenishment strategies, demand planning
• SAP FI: Invoice booking, GR/IR processes, basic financial flows
• SAP SD & QM: Preferred exposure to sales and quality management workflows
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and support development teams

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced manufacturing environments
• Proactive approach toward issue resolution and continuous process improvement

Key Requirements:

• 8-10 years of SAP experience in techno-functional roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP MM, PP, MRP, and FI modules
• Experience working in manufacturing environments (preferably engineering or production setups)
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain and production processes
• Ability to manage stakeholders and coordinate with external vendors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
