SAP Techno functional MDG Consultant

This position is part of the Sony Interactive Entertainment division, supporting America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions within a single global SAP instance.

• Education: Any graduate
• Experience:5+ years of relevant experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Techno-Functional MDG Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Master Data Management & Governance. The candidate should have at least two end-to-end SAP MDG implementations for Material, Customer, Vendor, or Finance Master Data modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Techno-Functional Expertise:

• Ability to handle technical code changes in Methods, Classes, and BADI for small and medium enhancements.
• Strong understanding of SAP MDG architecture with hands-on experience in data modeling, process modeling, and UI modeling.
• Responsible for setting up data models, configuring workflows, defining validation rules, and establishing governance processes.
• Ensure MDG functions align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Master Data Governance & Integration:

• Experience in setting up replication processes and master data governance workflows.
• Responsible for analyzing requirements, designing, developing, and implementing Enterprise Master Data solutions using SAP MDG.
• Expertise in MDG integration with SAP Enterprise Information Management stack and external systems.
• Worked on data model enhancements, functional validations, BRF+, and UI enhancements.

Business & Technical Advisory:

• Conduct feasibility studies by interacting with business teams to understand underlying requirements.
• Advise the client and project teams on the merits and demerits of different solution approaches.
• Review technical design and development of interfaces, enhancements, load programs, reports, and workflows in SAP MDG & S/4 HANA.
• Prepare proof of concepts for new functional requirements and present them to business teams.

Performance & System Support:

• Support SAP system upgrades and performance optimization.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
