- We're looking for a seasoned SAP Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ABAP and SAP MDG to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who can bridge the gap between business and technical requirements, with hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and enhancing SAP MDG solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional:
- Gather & analyze master data requirements (Customer, Vendor, Material, etc.)
- Configure MDG components: Data models, UI models, BRF+ rules, workflows
- Align solutions with data governance & compliance needs
- Lead workshops and training sessions
- Write functional specs for enhancements
- Technical (ABAP):
- Develop & maintain ABAP code, BADIs, reports, enhancements
- Handle integrations via SOA, ALE, IDocs, Web Services
- Design custom Fiori apps (preferred)
- Troubleshoot and optimize ABAP performance
- Collaborate with BASIS/PI/PO teams for landscape integration
- MDG Specific:
- Customize MDG domains (MDG-M, MDG-S, MDG-C)
- Implement validations, workflows, key/value mappings
- Manage DRF, data migration tools (DIF), file uploads
- Monitor workflows and troubleshoot CR issues
Skills & Experience
- 10+ years in SAP, with strong ABAP development background
- 5+ years in SAP MDG (minimum 1 full-cycle implementation)
- Deep knowledge of MDG data models, BRF+, FPM, workflows
- Experience integrating with ECC/S4HANA
- Familiar with custom replication, Fiori, SAP BTP (preferred)
- Strong communication & collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP MDG Certification
- Experience with SAP BTP, S/4HANA
- Understanding of data governance principles
- Familiar with Agile (JIRA, ServiceNow)
