About The Role
A technically grounded Project Manager who has grown from an integration developer background into owning full delivery accountability. You will manage complex middleware migration programs end-to-end bridging technical teams and client stakeholders while owning delivery quality, financials, metrics, and process discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Governance Own end-to-end project delivery within time, scope, and budget. Maintain project plans, RAID logs, and milestone trackers. Enforce gate reviews, change control, and sign-off processes. Publish RAG-based health reports to clients at agreed intervals.
Technical Oversight Lead delivery oversight on migration programs
legacy to cloud platforms, and similar iPaaS transformations. Validate estimates, sequencing, and technical approach with architects. Assess ERP integration impact (
SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) to manage scope intelligently. Participate in readiness assessments and go-live approvals.
Stakeholder & Client Management Serve as the primary client contact for health updates, escalations, and decisions. Establish clear accountabilities at initiation and maintain them throughout. Resolve escalations proactively through structured, solution-focused communication. Drive CSAT by closing the loop on all client feedback.
Team & People Management Lead distributed delivery teams; manage conflicts, conduct retrospectives, and maintain team morale. Support capability development within the project context.
Process & Quality Define and enforce delivery processes across all phases discovery through hypercare and BAU transition. Maintain standardized templates for charters, runbooks, testing sign-offs, and closure. Ensure ITSM compliance and manage vendors with external dependencies. Feed retrospective insights back into delivery playbooks.
Metrics & Performance Track and report Schedule Variance, Effort Variance, Milestone Adherence, Defect Leakage, FTR Rate, SLA Compliance, CR Ratio, Hypercare Incident Rate, and CSAT/ESAT. Publish weekly dashboards internally and monthly reviews with the Delivery Head. Use trends to initiate recovery plans before client impact.
Financials & Margin Management Own project P&L track planned vs. actual margins (GM0GM3), revenue recognized vs. billed, team utilization, and unbilled effort. Manage leakage from overruns, scope creep, and idle time. Enforce change request discipline to commercially capture all out-of-scope work. Engage in pre-sales estimation to validate effort models and flag margin risks early.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; 78 years total experience with minimum 3 years in Project / Delivery Management in SaaS or managed services.
- Prior hands-on experience as an integration developer or specialist non-negotiable.
- Project-level experience with SAP PI/PO CPI, webMethods MuleSoft, or equivalent iPaaS migrations.
- Strong understanding of APIs, iFlows, EDI, message brokering, and ERP integrations.
- Mandatory tools: ServiceNow / Freshservice and Site24x7.
- Proficient in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and ITSM frameworks.
- Financially literate comfortable owning project margins and engaging in commercial conversations.
- Exceptional communication skills across both technical and business audiences.
