SAP Sr Basis Consultant

• Develop and manage our SAP Client Structure and Transport Path. Ensure identified Dev / Test / QA Clients are configured, deployed, and refreshed in line with development cycle
• Research and implement best practice solutions within Basis functionality in areas of performance monitoring, tuning & systems configurations.
• Troubleshoot SAP Issues Note search, reviewing logs & connecting dots, interface with SAP support on OSS tickets.
• SAP Integration Message Queues, load-balancing, IDOC Monitoring. Also, as needed design, build, and support new and existing interfaces to SAP.
• SAP Transport Management including CTS+
• Data Archiving, SAP Print Architecture, SAP SSO (Sigle Sign on), Oauth .
• Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for system activities and ensure change control is followed as necessary
• Manage first analysis on incidents and make suggestions on incident resolution
• Daily checks and daily reports analysis
• Manage BASIS scheduler and backup tools, operating systems and databases
• Coordinate/Lead internal and external teams on resolution of incidents.

Requirements

At least 8+ years experience in an SAP Basis Administration role

• Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform/Business Technology Platform and configuring various services
• Knowledge of SAP deployments and management in cloud (AWS Preferred)
• Strong proficiency and experience in SAP Performance analysis, tuning and issue resolution, as well as maintenance automation tools or scripts
• Good understanding of SAP Security (Preferred).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field is desired
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work closely with nontechnical business partners
