SAP FSCM Collections Engineer (S/4HANA) with ABAP with 8+ years

Role Overview

We are seeking an SAP FSCM Collections Engineer with strong S/4HANA FSCM Collections implementation experience and hands-on ABAP + data specialization. This role focuses on end-to-end collections solution delivery, including configuration, optimization, integration across finance streams, and deep backend troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of SAP financial data structures (FI-AR/FI-GL), FSCM backend tables, data flows, and reconciliation, along with the ability to build and enhance FSCM capabilities using ABAP classes, APIs, and reporting layers (CDS/embedded analytics).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and optimization of FSCM Collections in SAP S/4HANA, including rollout and hypercare support.
• Configure and support core FSCM Collections capabilities including:
• Business Partner (BP) master data and Credit data handling
• Collection strategies, rules, segmentation, and worklists
• RMS configuration including scoring, prioritization, and strategy determination logic
• Develop and enhance FSCM features using:
• ABAP objects (classes, methods, enhancements), BAdIs/user exits
• FSCM-related APIs / OData services (where applicable)
• Perform deep backend analysis and troubleshooting across:
• FSCM backend tables, BP/customer master data, credit risk/classification, utilization
• Cases & Dispute Management, workflow touchpoints, and integration points
• FI-AR open/cleared item flow, balances, and FI-GL integration
• Analyze and document end-to-end data flow from accounting postings through collections execution, highlighting data entity relationships and dependencies.
• Design and support reporting/analytics using:
• CDS Views, embedded analytics, and data abstraction models
• Operational reports and reconciliation dashboards as needed
• Work across integrations with FI-AR, Credit Management, Dispute Management, and Cash Application, ensuring consistent business outcomes and data integrity.
• Support testing cycles (unit/SIT/UAT), defect triage, performance validation, and enterprise-wide deployment activities.
• Collaborate across functional and technical teams (business users, finance SMEs, architects, developers, data migration teams) in agile delivery models.
