Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Service Management (SM) Consultant with strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementation projects. The ideal candidate will work on designing, configuring, and developing custom solutions for transportation processes and integrations.
*Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation, configuration, and support of S/4HANA Service Management, including Service Contracts, Orders, Notifications, Warranties, In House Repair, and Field Service Management.
- Design solution workflows: document types, pricing, authorizations; perform fit-gap analysis and blueprint workshops.
- Configure seamless integrations with SD, MM, FI/CO, PM, and SAP FSM or C4C for cohesive business processes.
- Develop functional specifications, supervise technical teams (BAPIs, ALE/IDoc, OData), and manage interface development.
- Facilitate testing activities: unit, integration, UAT; prepare test scripts; resolve defects.
- Oversee go-live and hypercare, providing end-user training, documentation, and post-deployment support.
- Engage in pre-sales and stakeholder collaboration to shape client-oriented solutions and RFP responses.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Functional knowledge: Service Order Management, Service Contracts, Warranties, In-House Repair, Resource Related Billing.
- Technical proficiency: Fiori apps for Service Management, interface technologies (ALE/IDoc, OData), debugging understanding.
- Integration know how: strong background in integrating Service with SD, MM, FI/CO, and potentially with SAP FSM/C4C or BRIM.
- Solution design capabilities: end-to-end service lifecycle from customer engagement, contract, planning/scheduling, execution to billing, analytics.
- Analytical & communication skills: capable of translating business needs into system design, documentation, and training.
- Client-facing aptitude: experience in workshops, go-to-market, and cross-functional team collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of SAP experience, with 2+ years in S/4HANA Service Management implementations
- Deep functional domain expertise in Service Management or related modules (CS, PM)
- Certification in S/4HANA Service or Customer Management is a plus
- Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori, especially service-related apps.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with RISE with SAP and Clean Core principles.
- Experience in pre-sales, responding to RFPs, and influencing solution adoption.
- Exposure to ancillary modules such as FSM, C4C Service, BRIM/Subscription Billing.
