Why this role exists:
The Senior SAP Security Lead owns SAP security architecture, access governance, and compliance to protect enterprise systems and data. This role solves the problem of complex compliance and risk issues by acting as the control authority for security posture. This role leads the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) strategy while ensuring technical access controls directly support the integrity of the business.

Strategy, Architecture & GRC:
- Own the SAP security architecture, access governance, and compliance framework to protect enterprise data.
- Lead the strategy for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), including Segregation of Duties (SoD) ownership.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) that are aligned to the overall strategy and strategic objectives.
- Integrate compliance requirements into business practices and planning.
Operational Governance & Audit:
- Manage access governance and perform regular Segregation of Duties reviews.
- Ensure strong access controls and functional integrity across S/4HANA and BTP landscapes.
- Direct audit support activities and oversee complex role design requirements.
- Maintain documentation and ensure all tasks are conducted in accordance with all applicable laws and policies.
Team Leadership & Culture:
- Lead and manage the function to ensure Officeworks can recruit and retain appropriately qualified expertise.
- Coach and develop the team, promoting a leadership style in line with the organizational culture.
- Demonstrate everyday leadership that is fair, consistent, caring, engaging, and motivating.

- Service Performance: Ensuring 98% Access SLA compliance.
- Technical Integrity: Achieving 98% Role Design Accuracy.

Qualifications and work experience:
Essential:
- Education: Degree in I.T., Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP security and GRC.
- Specialist Knowledge: Expertise in risk management and audit facilitation.
- Attributes: High attention to detail and strong process discipline.
- Technology Proficiency: SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, IAM Tools, Jira, and Audit/Reporting Platforms.
