As an SAP Security Analyst at
Koch Capabilities, you will be responsible for delivering handson SAP security development, administration, and support across both cloud and onpremise SAP landscapes. You will play a key role in strengthening secure operations, enabling scalable security solutions, and partnering with global teams to support businesscritical systems.
Our Team
You will be part of the
Georgia-Pacific SAP Security team, a global group supporting SAP security tools, processes, and integrations across India and the US. The team works in a 24x7 model and collaborates closely with infrastructure, Basis, networking, database, and application development teams.
What You Will Do
- Working with functional and technical teams that are both India-based and US-basedCompleting key project work and support activities
- Adopting best practices in the implementation and execution of support processes
- Utilizing strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills to discuss requirements, support, status updates, etc. to audiences with varying levels of IT knowledgeChallenging the status quo and focusing on long-term value when designing solutions
- Using your technical and process aptitude to come up to speed on new tools and concepts required for SAP security development and support
- Solving critical support issues related to integration tools and processes
- Collaborating with various IT teams such as infrastructure support, Basis, networking, database administrators, web development and business application developers
- Maintaining system support documentation
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Member of a 24x7 team providing on-shift(business hours) and on-call(Off business hours) support for GP SAP tools and processes
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Configuration, implementation and support of SAP Security processes for Applications such as S/4Hana, MDG, BW, CRM, IBP, SAC, Ariba EIM, GRC Access Control, Fiori, BTP, CIC, HANA database and more.
- Experience in the configuration and support of SAP Business security roles, GRC Access Control Administration, GRC SOD Risk Management
- Hands On experience on different user and role types, SAP Authorization Concept, Roles and Activity Groups, and User Administration on different SAP Platform
- Ability to analyze authorizations issues to identify root cause for failure
- Configuration and understanding of Standard SAP Authorization checks within SU24
- SAP Applications Upgrade experience
- Experience in supporting end to end SAP Security project implementation, security and GRC workshops, testing support, change management and best practices
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with SAP SaaS applications (IAG, CIS, IBP, Ariba Invoice Management)
- Hands on experience with the following SAP applications/components:
- HANA DB Security Administration
- HANA DB Role Administration
- SAP integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Solution Manager
