SAP SD/OTC/GTS/LE Solution Architect

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP SD/OTC/GTS/LE Solution Architect with end-to-end ownership of solution design, delivery, and architecture across Sales & Distribution, Order-to-Cash, Global Trade Services, and Logistics Execution. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, strong in cross-module integration, and capable of driving complex S/4HANA implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design (75%)
- Lead the end-to-end solution design covering SAP SD, OTC, GTS, and LE processes.
- Architect and optimize Order-to-Cash cycles, pricing, credit management, billing, invoicing, transportation, and delivery processes.
- Design S/4HANA best-practicealigned solutions including ATP, AATP, Fiori apps, and advanced logistics processes.
- Provide strategic inputs for global template design, process harmonization, and standardization.
Functional & Technical Leadership
- Conduct workshops, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and blueprint creation.
- Build Functional Specifications (FS), WRICEF documentation, and integration mapping.
- Provide direction to technical teams (ABAP/BTP/CPI) for enhancements and complex developments.
- Ensure seamless integration with MM, PP, FICO, EWM, TM, GTS, and external systems.
Project Execution & Delivery
- Drive solution walkthroughs, UAT, integration testing, and cutover planning.
- Provide expert support for go-lives, hypercare, and system stabilization.
- Maintain strong governance on solution quality, compliance, and architectural principles.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business process owners and decision-makers.
Practice Development & Presales (25%)
- Contribute to RFP responses, client presentations, solution proposals, and estimations.
- Support creation of reusable process assets, accelerators, and documentation.
- Mentor consultants, foster capability development, and promote SAP solution excellence.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Expertise
- 1015 years of hands-on SAP experience with strong capability in:
- SAP SD (Pricing, Billing, Deliveries, Availability Check, Credit Management, Rebates)
- OTC End-to-End cycles
- SAP GTS (Compliance, Customs, Trade Preference, EDI, Embargo Checks)
- SAP LE (Shipping, Transportation, Freight, Warehouse Interface Processes)
Technical & Integration Skills
- Strong knowledge of S/4HANA SD innovations including:
- AATP
- Condition Contract Management
- Settlement Management
- Fiori-based OTC apps
- Solid understanding of IDOCs, EDI, third-party integrations, and trade compliance workflows.
- Expertise in cross-module integration with MM, FICO, PP, EWM/TM and BTP extensions.
Project Experience
- At least 23 full life cycle implementations as Solution Architect / Lead Consultant.
- Experience in global rollouts, template design, migrations (ECC S/4HANA).
- Experience working with multi-country, multi-currency, and tax scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certification in SD, GTS, or S/4HANA Supply Chain.
- Experience in Transportation Management (TM) is a plus.
- Exposure to CIN (Country India Version), GST processes & e-invoicing desirable.
Education
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
