We are looking for a highly experienced SAP SD-IS Retail Consultant with 10+ years of expertise to support a remote, offshore project. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SAP IS Retail best practices, Fit-Gap Analysis, and SAP SD module configuration. The consultant will play a critical role in the end-to-end implementation process, from design and configuration to testing and hypercare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document current business processes and map them to SAP IS Retail functionality.
- Perform Fit-Gap Analysis and provide optimized SAP solutions.
- Configure SAP SD and SAP IS Retail modules in alignment with business requirements.
- Lead and facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including configuration documents, process flows, and test cases.
- Support data migration, cutover activities, and integration testing.
- Provide hypercare support and resolve post-implementation issues.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless deployment and performance optimization.
- Act as a key liaison between business users and the SAP support team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP SD with at least 5 years in SAP IS Retail.
- Strong expertise in SAP IS Retail Best Practices and industry-specific solutions.
- Hands-on experience with configuration, customization, and integration in SD and Retail modules.
- Proven experience with data migration strategies and cutover planning.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, hypercare support, and post-go-live activities.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, offshore setup during EST hours.
