Role Overview
As an SAP SD HANA Consultant, you will serve as a primary functional architect for our S/4 HANA engagements in Bangalore. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, working closely with cross-functional teams and key client stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize sales and distribution processes. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of client supply chains and revenue cycles, ensuring that our SAP implementations provide measurable business value and seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP SD modules within S/4 HANA environments to ensure alignment with client business objectives.
- Configure complex pricing procedures, billing processes, and shipping logistics to streamline client operations and reduce manual overhead.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate functional requirements into high-quality technical specifications for custom developments.
- Conduct comprehensive gap analysis and process mapping to optimize existing sales workflows and improve system performance.
- Provide expert-level support during the testing, data migration, and hyper-care phases to ensure successful project delivery and user adoption.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP SD configuration with a deep understanding of S/4 HANA architecture and business process integration.
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle implementations, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, and post-go-live support.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate complex functional solutions to both technical developers and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to troubleshoot critical system issues and provide sustainable, scalable resolutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration within a Bangalore-based team.
- A minimum of 7 to 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD and SAP HANA environments is essential for this role.
