The Professional Services Consultant for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Sales & Distribution (SD) is responsible for delivering endtoend consulting services to customers adopting SAP's Public Cloud ERP. This role focuses on implementing SAP Best Practices for OrdertoCash (O2C), guiding customers through fittostandard workshops, configuring the system, supporting integrations, and ensuring a successful golive.

Functional Expertise

Strong knowledge of SAP SD processes:

Order management

Pricing & conditions

Delivery & shipping

Billing & invoicing

Credit management

Returns & refunds

Experience with S/4HANA Public Cloud or S/4HANA OnPremise (SD)

Understanding of SAP Best Practices and scope items

Cross functional integration with SAP FICO, MM, WM, PP Modules

Technical/Tool Knowledge

SAP Fiori apps for SD

SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC)

SAP Activate methodology

Basic understanding of APIs, iFlows, and BTP extensions

SAP SD or S/4HANA Cloud certification (Public Edition Sales)

Experience with multicountry rollouts

1. Implementation & Delivery

Lead FittoStandard workshops for SD/O2C processes

Configure S/4HANA Public Cloud SD scope items (e.g., BD9, BDN, BKR, BGG)

Support master data setup (customers, pricing, materials, credit management)

Execute testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and resolve defects

Prepare and deliver cutover, golive, and hyper care activities

2. Customer Engagement

Act as the primary SD functional advisor for customers

Translate business requirements into SAP standard capabilities

Guide customers to adopt SAP Best Practices and avoid unnecessary customization

Provide training and enablement for key users

3. Integration & CrossFunctional Collaboration

Work with consultants from Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing

Support integrations with SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and thirdparty systems

Collaborate with technical teams for APIs, iFlows, and extensibility

4. Documentation & Governance

Prepare functional specifications for extensions (inapp & sidebyside)

Maintain configuration documentation and process flows

Ensure compliance with SAP Activate methodology

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently in a remote/distributed team

Ability to work in agile, fastpaced cloud projects

Proactive attitude with ownership and accountability
