About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4 HANA MM Functional Consultant to join our IT-SAP team. The role involves implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP MM modules to align with business needs and ensure seamless operations. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver efficient and compliant SAP solutions.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in SAP MM (S/4 HANA preferred)
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP MM Implementation & Configuration
- Lead implementation and support of SAP S/4 HANA MM modules
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Conduct workshops to gather and document business requirements
- Configure and customize SAP MM modules based on business needs
- Identify gaps, issues, and propose effective solutions or enhancements
- Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, custom developments, and enhancements
- Act as a liaison with business users to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
2. Functional Specifications
- Prepare detailed functional specifications based on business requirements
- Ensure alignment between business blueprints and system configurations
- Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams
3. Testing & Validation
- Perform unit and integration testing
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality meets expectations
4. Training & Documentation
- Conduct training sessions for end users
- Develop and maintain user manuals for new implementations or process changes
5. Support & Compliance
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP MM modules
- Manage change requests and emergency transports for critical issues
- Ensure compliance with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 standards
- Maintain proper system documentation
Desired Skills & Competencies
- 6+ years of experience in SAP MM implementation and support (end-to-end lifecycle)
- Strong expertise in SAP MM configuration and integration with other modules
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical business processes
- Familiarity with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and process
