Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP S/4HANA PP & QM Consultant with strong functional expertise in
Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and their integration within SAP manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
SAP ECC PP and S/4HANA PP, end-to-end implementation projects, S/4HANA implementations or rollouts, and integration with
MES/SAP MII or other manufacturing execution systems.
The role involves solution design, blueprinting, troubleshooting, quality reviews, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and supporting multiple SAP projects.
Must-Have Skills
- 4–8 years of overall SAP experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC PP and S/4HANA PP
- 4+ years of SAP PP experience
- Strong experience in SAP PP-QM integration
- 3+ years of PP-QM integration experience
- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including solution design
- At least 1 S/4HANA PP/QM implementation or rollout
- Strong experience in Production Planning and SAP QM
- Minimum 3 years of relevant manufacturing/domain experience
- 2+ years of experience in MES integration, either SAP or non-SAP
- Experience working with interfaces between SAP and MES/manufacturing systems
- Experience with SAP MII or other MES platforms is highly relevant
- Experience working on global SAP projects, including global template development and rollouts
- Experience coordinating or leading cross-functional teams
- Understanding of SAP Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes
- Strong knowledge of integration between PP/QM and other SAP modules
Nice-to-Have Skills
- SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) integration knowledge
- Exposure to EWM
- Understanding of SAP MM/Procurement
- Understanding of SAP SD/Sales processes
- Working knowledge of SAP FI/CO integration
- Experience with global template design and deployment
- Experience in concept and blueprint creation
- Presales / technical sales experience
- Experience mentoring junior SAP consultants
- Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously
- MBA from a reputed institution is preferred
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech or equivalent technical qualification from a reputed institution
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in SAP solution design and blueprint creation for PP and QM processes
- Design and support SAP manufacturing solutions aligned with business requirements
- Work on end-to-end SAP PP/QM implementation and rollout projects
- Support S/4HANA transformation and implementation initiatives
- Define and review solutions from a functional and process perspective
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex SAP PP/QM issues
- Ensure effective integration between PP, QM and other SAP modules
- Work on integration with MES, SAP MII and non-SAP manufacturing systems
- Support interface requirements between SAP and manufacturing execution platforms
- Conduct quality reviews of SAP logistics and manufacturing solutions
- Provide functional guidance and support to project teams
- Mentor and guide junior/associate consultants
- Conduct training sessions and facilitate knowledge sharing
- Participate in proof-of-concepts, studies, and concept projects
- Provide spot consulting and expert functional support
- Contribute to technical discussions and presales activities
- Work effectively across multiple projects running in parallel
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, timeline, and business requirements

Education
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech or equivalent technical qualification
- MBA is preferred
