JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Title: SAP S/4 HCM Payroll - Techno-Functional Consultant

1. JOB PURPOSE

MSIL is in process of implementing the SAP solution to adopt Global Best practices and Digital transformation. Requirement is to have Techno-Functional expert in SAP Payroll area so that the skill and experience can be leveraged to ensure successful implementation and sustenance of SAP Project.

3.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

.Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP S/4 HCM including payroll as per Business Requirement.

.Collaborate with Core Business and SAP IT teams along with SI Partner for implementation of Payroll module as per Project Plan. Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team

.Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions identify, interpret, validate, and document business requirements.

.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR, Finance, external parties etc., to understand business requirements and align and integrate SAP Payroll with other SAP modules like FI, Success Factor (SF) and Legacy systems

.Map business requirements, processes, and objectives, Identify Gaps, issues develops necessary product modifications and provide work around solutions.

.Act as liaison with business user for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.

.Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high-priority issues.

.Document functional designs, test cases, and results.

.Validate Functional Specification Document prepared by SI partner from Sustainability and Business requirement fulfilment perspective ensuring minimal impact on core customization.

.Impart understanding of Functional Specification Document to development team for Development of customizations.

.Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.

.Provide Subject matter expert services on SAP payroll module and other dependent modules.

.Participate actively in testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing and User acceptance testing.

.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to understand business requirements and align and integrate SAP Payroll with other SAP modules and external systems.

.Develop and implement SAP HCM strategies, policies, and procedures to improve payroll execution process and compliance.

.Provide Subject matter expert services on SAP S/4 HCM module and other dependent modules.

.Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on SAP payroll functionalities and best practices.

.Adherence to Project Tasks as per defined Timelines.

.Change Management tracking and impact assessmet across modules.

4.MAJOR CHALLENGES

.Adequate SAP Techno-Functional Knowledge to ensure Quality and Timelines adherence of Deliverables.

.Follow all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures, uses standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work. Analyze current business processes and make recommendations.

.Ensure knowledge transfer to functional analysts as necessary to increase their understanding and utilization of the SAP systems and applications

6.INTERACTIONS

Internal Clients:

. Collaborate with the SAP Business and IT Core team members as well as extended Business and IT team members to implement the SAP solution to help in resolving business problems with minimum customizations

External Clients:

.Work along with External vendor, SI partner to validate the technical solution provided and ensure complete end to end process implementation.

Educational Qualifications

.Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field

.BE/BTech/MBA/MCA Full-Time Education

.SAP HCM Certification

a)Work Experience

.Expertise in India Payroll with Experience in S/4 HCM Payroll & Time, OM, PA ESS/MSS

.SAP HCM Consultant with minimum 6 to 8 years of experience and 2 to 3 end to end implementation experience in automotive companies in India and outside India.

.Should have knowledge on Organization Management, Personal Administration, Payroll, Time Management, Recruitment, ESS/ MSS, LSO, Exit Management, reimbursements, Personal Taxation, compensation & Benefits, Promotions etc.

.Configure and implement Indian Payroll, Time OM and PA, knowledge of Government Sector Payroll, Benefits, Time module.

.Integration experience with HCM on S/4 HANA with Workday, SuccessFactors and other third-party systems will be added benefit.

.SAP HCM payroll (End of service calculations, Pension calculations, Integration with time management, Finance Integration, knowledge on labour Law, Custom Payroll functions, PCR's and Schemas)

.Knowledge on Success factor Employee Central ie profile portlets Data replication Monitor Employee central API's Admin tools like Manage data etc.

.Integration between SF Employee Central of all objects including custom objects to S/4 HCM Payroll

.Custom Integrations with third party Legacy applications.

.Experience in working on wide range of projects such as Payroll, Hybrid model, Standalone SAP systems.

.Experience in different payroll products (standalone SAP Payroll and cloud payroll) is an added advantage.

.Strong command and experiences on End-to-End implementation process and ability to handle complex projects.

.Expert in SAP Indian payroll configuration for Gross payroll and Net Payroll, Tax Reporter configuration.

.Participate in requirements gathering discussions with business and clearly document the business requirements and perform fit-gap analysis.

.Document and perform functional testing to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the solution.

.Provide training support to end users on SAP payroll module.

.Proven ability to configure SAP solutions and experience with planning and participating in SAP blueprinting and design discussions.

.Experience in Global template implementation and rollout will be an added advantage.

.Experience on other dependent processes like Finance posting etc.

.Knowledge on conversion tools (LTMC, LSMW, BDC, CPI etc.)

.Master Data Preparation, Validation and Execution.

.Experience in BTP, RPA implementation, FIORI Apps and Dashboards
