Job Description

Position / Role: Project Manager-S/4 Hana

18-20 years of overall work experience and from SAP project management background is a mandate.

Core Job specific skills:

  • Should have extensive experience across multiple SAP core modules with mastery on S/4 Hana implementation.
  • Possess experience of atleast 5years in Project Management across Greenfield and Brownfield implementations covering all the phases of project into S/4 Hana.
  • Should have experience in usage of various effort estimation techniques, pricing strategies and managing project finance
  • Capable of communicating with senior and top level management and stakeholders to ensure timely and correct project and program updates
  • Should be able to build a strong structure for Program Governance to provide specific project related information to the targeted stakeholders
  • Should be able to develop a detailed project and program plan including risk and communication management and monitor the progress with specific focus on triple constraints; cost, schedule and scope.
  • Candidate should have extensive understanding of quality assurance in project delivery and adhere to the quality framework of the organization
  • Focused on evaluating the project risks on continuous basis and deploy risk mitigation strategies to control the progress of the project
  • Should be conversant with transition management from Project team to Application maintenance team and project closure
  • Should have working knowledge on project management tools like MS-Project, MS-Office application, SAP-Project Systems, Primavera etc to name a few
  • Should be capable of handling multiple projects and continuously prioritize them with the high-level benefit of central program
  • He should be able to perform a techno managerial role providing technical inputs to consultants on need basis and manage teams and multiple stakeholders

Soft skills

  • Should be self-driven, confident and should be able to manage a team
  • Should be able to chart out clear career path suiting the aspirations of individual team members
  • Possess pleasant communication (oral, written) skills and good client facing capabilities with good organizing and multitasking skills
  • Good interpersonal and team management skills is must and should be able to groom the team towards organizational goals.

Credentials

  • Should posses S/4 Hana certification.
  • Should possess atleast one valid certification on Project Management like PMP or PRINCE II-Practitioner level. It is desirable to be certified in Agile, ITIL framework etc.
  • Preferably the candidate should possess post-graduation degree in business management preferably from Tier-1 or Tier-2 business schools.
