Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering SAP projects within scope, timeline, and budget while ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP implementation, migration, or upgrade projects (S/4HANA preferred).
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation plans, and timelines.
- Manage cross-functional teams including SAP Functional, Technical, Basis, Security, and Testing teams.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align expectations.
- Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost optimization.
- Drive status reporting, executive updates, and steering committee presentations.
- Ensure smooth go-live planning and post-go-live support stabilization.
- Handle vendor coordination and third-party engagement management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall experience with at least 46 years in SAP project management.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations preferred.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- PMP / PRINCE2 / SAP Activate certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience managing offshore/onshore delivery models.
- Proficiency in project tracking tools (JIRA, MS Project, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in SAP transformation programs.
- Exposure to cloud-based SAP environments.
- Experience in multi-country rollouts.
