About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP implementation, upgrade, and support projects. The ideal candidate should have strong delivery management skills, excellent stakeholder handling abilities, and a deep understanding of SAP modules and integration across business processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 818 years of total experience, with at least 6-8 years in SAP project management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
- Proven experience managing mid-to-large SAP programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capability.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / SAP Activate certification (preferred).
- Experience working with global teams is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Lead full lifecycle SAP projects (implementation, upgrade, rollout, support).
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resource planning, and quality control.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs are met.
- Drive issue resolution and risk mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Work closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to gather requirements and align expectations.
- Manage cross-functional SAP consultant teams across modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HR, ABAP, Basis, etc.).
- Facilitate workshops, status meetings, and steering committee presentations.
- Ensure smooth communication among all stakeholders.
Functional & Technical Understanding
- Strong understanding of SAP business processes and integration across modules.
- Ability to review functional/technical specifications and provide guidance.
- Support the team with requirement clarification and solution validation.
Quality, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure project governance, documentation, and adherence to SAP best practices.
- Drive UAT, SIT, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
- Establish change management and training plans.
