Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Consultant specializing in Production Planning (PP), with significant domain expertise in the forging industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing SAP solutions across multiple cycles, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Implement SAP PP module to optimize production processes with discrete & repetitive mfg. with MTS and MTO, Planning and scheduling process.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and IT to gather requirements, design solutions, and execute implementations.
- Configure SAP modules based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities for end-users and stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancement of SAP solutions.
- Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful deployment of SAP modules.
- Stay updated with SAP advancements, industry trends, and evolving business needs to propose and implement continuous improvements.
- Mentor junior consultants and team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Should analyse the data and create value added insights to the management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge on production, Production planning and scheduling.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience as an SAP Consultant, specializing in SAP PP module.
- Extensive domain knowledge and hands-on experience in the forging industry, understanding specific manufacturing processes, quality standards, and maintenance requirements.
- Proven track record of leading 3 or more full-cycle SAP implementations, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
- SAP certification in PP module is preferred.
- Experience in S/4HANA implementations and knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD,CO,PM &QM) is a plus.
