Who are we looking for

Our client, a leading consulting team is supporting a major manufacturing organisation in Mumbai on a business-critical SAP transformation and stabilisation programme.

As part of this engagement, they are looking to onboard an experienced SAP PP Functional Consultant who can strengthen the Production Planning workstream and ensure seamless operations across manufacturing units.

This role will be central to driving PP process excellence, enabling efficient production workflows, and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design, optimise, and stabilise SAP-enabled manufacturing processes.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead requirement gathering workshops with business and plant teams for all SAP PP-related processes.
• Perform end-to-end configuration of PP modules including MRP, production orders, BOMs, routings, planning strategies, and shop-floor execution processes.
• Conduct detailed gap analysis and prepare high-quality functional specifications for RICEFW developments.
• Ensure strong integration across MM, SD, QM, PM, and FI modules for seamless manufacturing workflow execution.
• Drive UAT cycles, user training, and hypercare support to ensure smooth transitions post-go-live.
• Collaborate closely with client teams and consulting leadership to troubleshoot functional issues, stabilise processes, and deliver performance improvements.

Skills & Qualification:

• 5+ years of hands-on functional experience in SAP PP.
• Proven track record across full-cycle implementations, rollouts, and production support projects.
• Strong expertise in PP configuration (MRP, BOM, routings, production orders, planning strategies, shop-floor control).
• Solid understanding of cross-module integrations with MM, SD, QM, PM, and FI.
• Experience preparing functional specs for RICEFW objects and coordinating with technical teams.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and client-facing skills with the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
