SAP Practice Lead/Manager - FICO

The Tower Lead SAP Finance will be responsible for managing SAP Finance practice team as well as providing expert SAP consultancy to our clients. The person in this role will manage a team of 10-20 SAP Finance and Controlling resources, work closely with clients to understand their business needs, designing SAP solutions in Finance and Controlling. The ideal candidate will have excellent team management skills, including career development, hiring, and organizational design experience. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling, strong consulting skills, and the ability to lead complex projects. This role requires a strategic leader with the ability to communicate SAP solutions to all stakeholder levels and drive business value through SAP Finance and Controlling best practices. This is a senior-level position that requires a combination of people management, business acumen, technical expertise, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Practice Resource Management: Evaluate project demand and practice capacity, propose new hiring or staffing augmentations. Develop long term strategy for an agile cost-efficient team.
• Team Leadership: Mentor, guide, and evaluate practice resources, fostering attractive and innovative team environment.
• Client Engagement: Lead and manage client relationships, understanding their business needs, and delivering SAP Finance and Controlling solutions.
• Project Management: Oversee projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to budget constraints.
• SAP Finance and Controlling: Lead SAP Finance & Controlling design and oversee realization at projects. Apply SAP Best Practices, working collaboratively with client's stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations to clients and senior management, translating SAP Finance and Controlling concepts into clear and concise business terms.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and SAP technologies, incorporating them into client solutions.
• Business Development: Support business development activities by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client pitches.

Minimum Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in SAP Finance and Controlling, with at least 5 years in consulting roles.
• HR development and manager experience.
• Proven track of managing a team of 10-20 employees, as a functional area practice lead or similar.
• Proven track of mentoring and guiding consultants, including junior resources.
• Proven track record of leading and managing SAP projects.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of business processes.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, and finance add-on applications.
• Experience with cutover and data migrations in Finance and Controlling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A master's degree is preferred.
• SAP certification(s) in relevant modules.

Additional Requirements:

• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours if necessary.
• Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or training sessions.
