Description
GSPANN is hiring an SAP Practice Head to lead and scale enterprise SAP capabilities, driving strategy, delivery excellence, and business growth across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and RISE with SAP programs. This leadership role will own end-to-end P&L, oversee large-scale SAP transformations, build high-performing teams, and ensure strong governance and client satisfaction.
Role and Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end SAP Practice Profit and Loss (P&L), including revenue growth, margins, utilization, and cost optimization.
- Define and execute the SAP practice strategy and roadmap across SAP Enterprise Central Component (ECC) support, SAP S/4HANA migrations, RISE with SAP, and Application Management Services (AMS).
- Develop annual operating plans, workforce (headcount) strategies, and capability investment roadmaps.
- Ensure high-quality delivery across SAP ECC core modules and SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, including Greenfield (new implementation), Brownfield (system conversion), and Landscape Transformation approaches.
- Lead large and complex SAP programs, including implementations, system conversions, rollouts, and Managed Services engagements.
- Establish strong delivery governance, manage risks proactively, and drive high Customer Satisfaction (CSAT).
- Provide thought leadership on SAP transformation strategies, including SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transitions, RISE with SAP commercial and technical models, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Integration Suite, SAP Fiori, and Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (Cloud ALM).
- Advise clients on transformation approaches, business case development, and migration strategies, including phased versus big-bang implementations.
- Partner with SAP and hyperscalers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to drive joint business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Client Partners, and Marketing teams to shape SAP deals, respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and build differentiated solution offerings.
- Act as executive sponsor and solution authority for large and strategic pursuits.
- Develop industry-specific SAP solutions, accelerators, and value propositions.
- Build and scale high-performing SAP teams across functional domains such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (WM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Human Resources (HR), as well as technical areas including Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), BASIS administration, Security, and Integration.
- Drive hiring strategy, enable skill transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, implement certification programs, and build leadership succession plans.
- Mentor senior SAP leaders, solution architects, and delivery managers.
- Act as the executive interface for key SAP clients and stakeholders.
- Build long-term strategic relationships with Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Chief Operating Officers (COOs), and business leaders.
- Identify and drive account growth, transformation opportunities, and long-term value creation initiatives.
Skills and Experience
- 18+ years of SAP experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing large SAP practices or portfolios is expected.
- Demonstrate strong experience across SAP ECC multi-module environments, SAP S/4HANA transformations, and RISE with SAP programs.
- Possess a strong background in Information Technology (IT) services or system integration (SI) environments.
- Exhibit deep understanding of SAP architectures, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP models, and Application Management Services frameworks.
- Apply working knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and integration technologies such as Process Integration/Process Orchestration (PI/PO) and Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), along with Security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- Demonstrate exposure to cloud infrastructure platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
- Exhibit a strong ownership mindset for financial performance (P&L) and business growth.
- Demonstrate executive presence and strong client-facing communication skills.
- Balance delivery excellence with business growth and strategic expansion.
- Exhibit strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Hold SAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA, architecture, or functional domains (preferred).
- Demonstrate experience working with SAP directly or within the SAP partner ecosystem.
- Expertise in working with global delivery models and multi-geography clients is desirable.
