Job Description
We are looking for experienced SAP PPQM Functional Consultants to support a Greenfield ECC Company Code Rollout project for a leading pharmaceutical client. The role involves end-to-end functional consulting responsibilities across SAP PP and QM modules along with readiness for future S/4HANA conversion initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong SAP ECC implementation experience, pharma domain knowledge, and cross-functional integration expertise with PP, QM, MM, and EWM modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP PPQM functional activities for ECC greenfield rollout projects.
- Gather business requirements and perform detailed process analysis.
- Prepare and validate AS-IS and TO-BE business process documents.
- Configure SAP PP and QM modules as per business requirements.
- Prepare BBP documents and obtain business sign-offs.
- Coordinate with ABAP and interface teams for WRICEF developments.
- Support data migration and master data activities.
- Execute functional testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution activities.
- Conduct key user training and prepare training documentation.
- Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Ensure compliance with pharma regulatory standards such as GxP and GMP.
- Collaborate on S/4HANA readiness and future conversion planning.
SAP PP Skills Required
- Strong experience in SAP PP configuration and support.
- Expertise in BOM, Routing, Work Centers, and Production Versions.
- Hands-on experience in MRP, Batch Management, and Shop Floor Control.
- Experience with process manufacturing and discrete manufacturing.
- Knowledge of PP-PI and capacity leveling (PP_CRP).
- Experience in enhancements such as batch expiry logic, BOM versioning, weighing and dispensing processes.
- Cross-functional integration experience with QM, MM, and EWM.
- Exposure to S/4HANA PP concepts and Fiori applications.
SAP QM Skills Required
- Strong experience in SAP QM processes and configuration.
- Experience in quality planning, inspection lot processing, and results recording.
- Knowledge of quality notifications, certificates, audit trails, and compliance handling.
- Experience in COA (Certificate of Analysis) design and layouts.
- Integration knowledge with MM, PP, and Batch Management.
- Support for validation documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Awareness of S/4HANA QM functionality and embedded analytics.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of SAP ECC functional consulting experience.
- Minimum one end-to-end implementation or rollout project experience.
- Strong pharma or life sciences industry experience.
- Functional knowledge of S/4HANA preferred.
- Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional and client-facing environments.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology.
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and testing tools.
- Knowledge of GxP validation documentation and compliance standards.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
