SAP PPDS Senior Manager – Automotive

Location: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Pune

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP PP/DS implementations and transformation programs for automotive clients.
• Drive solutions around production planning, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, sequencing, and demand-supply balancing.
• Design and implement SAP PPDS integrated with SAP S/4HANA, PP, MM, SD and other supply chain modules.
• Understand automotive manufacturing processes including production planning, MRP, shop-floor scheduling, BOM/routing, capacity and production execution.
• Lead workshops with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Manage solution architecture, functional design, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage project delivery, timelines, risks and client expectations.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on digital supply chain and manufacturing transformation.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation and SAP-enabled business value.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PPDS / SAP Production Planning.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and PP/DS integration.
• Strong understanding of automotive/manufacturing supply chain processes.
• Experience leading large SAP transformation/implementation programs.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing teams and mentoring SAP functional consultants.

Good to Have:

• SAP PPDS certification.
• Experience with SAP IBP, EWM, APO, MES or Digital Manufacturing.
• Automotive OEM/Tier-1 supplier experience.
• Exposure to S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS, aATP and MRP Live.
• Consulting experience with large global organizations.
