Role Overview
Gyansys is seeking a highly experienced and hands-on SAP PP/QM Solution Architect to lead solution design, delivery governance, and implementation across Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules in S/4HANA environments.
The role demands deep functional expertise, strong customer engagement capabilities, and the ability to drive both delivery and pre-sales initiatives.
This position includes Solution & Delivery Ownership (75%) and Practice Development & Presales (25%).
Key Responsibilities
1. Solutioning & Delivery Ownership (75%)
- Lead end-to-end SAP PP/QM solution architecture for greenfield, brownfield, rollout, and enhancement projects.
- Provide hands-on configuration in PP (Discrete, Process, Repetitive Manufacturing) and QM (Inspection, Quality Planning, Quality Notifications).
- Conduct detailed requirement workshops, process mapping, blueprinting, and solution validation.
- Own integration design across MM, SD, EWM, PM, FI/CO, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Define RICEFW requirements and collaborate with ABAP/BTP technical teams.
- Ensure solution governance, delivery quality, and adherence to SAP Activate methodology.
- Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT), defect triage, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
- Drive manufacturing process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
2. Practice Development & Presales (25%)
- Develop reusable solution accelerators, templates, and best practices for PP/QM projects.
- Participate in presales cycles: RFI/RFP responses, client presentations, and solution walk-throughs.
- Contribute to building PP/QM capability within the SAP practice, mentor consultants, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Collaborate with Sales and Delivery Leadership in scoping, estimations, and solution proposal creation.
Technical Expertise Required
SAP PP (Production Planning)
- MRP, planning strategies, BOM, routing, work centers
- Production orders, confirmations, capacity planning
- Repetitive manufacturing & process industry scenarios
- Demand Management, Production Scheduling & Shop Floor Execution
- Integration with EWM/WM, QM, MM, SD, PM
- Knowledge of PP/DS (good-to-have)
SAP QM (Quality Management)
- Quality Inspection, Notifications, Quality Certificates
- Quality Planning, Sampling Procedures, MICs, Inspection Plans
- In-process, incoming, and outgoing inspection processes
- QM integration with PP, MM, SD, EWM, PM
- Audit management and stability studies (good-to-have)
Preferred Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PP & QM.
- Exposure to SAP MES / MII integrations is an advantage.
- Understanding of digital manufacturing, IoT quality monitoring, and predictive quality (nice-to-have).
- Experience working on multi-country rollouts.

Education
