Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled SAP PP, QM, and PM Senior Consultant with 5+ years of experience to support S/4 HANA AMS engagements. The role involves production support, issue resolution, enhancements, and process optimization across Manufacturing, Quality Management, and Plant Maintenance modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP PP, QM, and PM modules.
- Analyse and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests within SLA timelines.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
- Work on enhancements, configuration changes, and change requests.
- Ensure smooth functioning of end-to-end manufacturing & maintenance processes.
- Support integration issues across modules (PP-QM-PM-MM-SD).
- Handle data inconsistencies, master data corrections, and transactional issues.
- Participate in release management, transports, regression testing, and deployments.
- Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements.
- Prepare/maintain functional documentation (FS, test cases, SOPs).
Technical & Functional Skills
SAP PP (Production Planning)
- Strong experience in:
- Production orders & process orders
- MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Work centers, routings, BOMs
- Demand management & capacity planning
- Understanding of:
- S/4 HANA PP simplifications and embedded features
SAP QM (Quality Management)
- Hands-on experience in:
- Inspection processes (GR, in-process, final inspection)
- Quality notifications
- Sampling procedures
- Quality planning and inspection characteristics
- Knowledge of:
- Integration with PP, MM, and SD
SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
- Experience in:
- Maintenance notifications and orders
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Task lists, maintenance plans
- Equipment and functional locations
- Understanding of:
- Asset management and maintenance workflows in S/4 HANA
Integration Knowledge
- Strong understanding of integration with:
- MM (Procurement, Inventory Management)
- SD (Sales and Distribution)
- FI/CO (Costing, settlement)
- Ability to troubleshoot cross-module issues
AMS / Support Experience
- Proven experience in:
- AMS / Production Support environment
- Hands-on working with:
- Ticketing tools (ServiceNow)
- Familiar with:
- ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Ability to:
- Work in SLA-driven and shift-based support models
- Handle critical incidents and business escalations
S/4 HANA Expertise
- Understanding of:
- S/4 HANA data model simplifications
- Fiori apps related to PP, QM, and PM
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a support environment
- Leadership skills to mentor junior team members

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
- SAP Certification in PP/QM/PM (preferred)
Experience
- 5+ years of SAP functional experience, including:
- Significant exposure to SAP PP, QM, and PM modules
- At least 1–2 years in S/4 HANA environment
- Hands-on experience in AMS / Support projects
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with:
- Fiori/UI5 applications
- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge
