Role Overview
As an SAP PPQM Consultant, you will serve as the primary functional bridge between complex business manufacturing requirements and technical system architecture.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to design, configure, and deploy SAP S/4HANA solutions that optimize production planning and quality assurance workflows.
Your work directly impacts the efficiency of supply chain operations, ensuring that our clients maintain the highest standards of product quality while meeting aggressive production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure SAP PP and QM modules to align with client-specific manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless integration across the supply chain.
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects, from initial requirement gathering and blueprinting to final system testing and post-go-live support.
- Analyze existing production bottlenecks and quality gaps to propose and implement system enhancements that drive operational productivity.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop custom RICEFW objects, ensuring that functional specifications meet business needs without compromising system integrity.
- Conduct comprehensive user training and workshops to facilitate smooth system adoption and ensure stakeholders are proficient in new SAP S/4HANA functionalities.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated expertise in configuring SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) modules within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle implementations, including data migration, cutover activities, and complex integration with MM, SD, and FICO modules.
- Strong analytical mindset to translate complex business challenges into scalable functional designs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage client expectations and facilitate discussions with both technical developers and business process owners.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Bangalore, collaborating with distributed teams to meet project milestones.
- Possession of 4 - 7 years of relevant professional experience in SAP functional consulting roles.
- A degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred to ensure a strong grasp of manufacturing operations.
