Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) QM (Quality Management) Consultant to join our team for an upcoming implementation project. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in both SAP PP and QM modules, with a proven ability to analyze business processes, perform fit-gap analysis, configure solutions, and ensure seamless integration within the SAP landscape. Experience in the Process Industry is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Analysis & Optimization: Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams and participate in workshops with business stakeholders to thoroughly understand and optimize existing (AS IS) and future (TO BE) production and quality processes.
  • Fit-Gap Analysis & Solutioning: Conduct comprehensive fit-gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and standard SAP functionalities.
  • Propose and design effective solutions to bridge these gaps, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Configuration & Maintenance: Set up and maintain detailed configurations within both SAP PP and QM modules, ensuring they align perfectly with defined business processes and requirements.
  • Implementation & Integration: Lead and support the end-to-end implementation of SAP PP and QM functionalities.
  • Ensure smooth and robust integration of PP and QM modules with other relevant SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO) within the broader SAP landscape.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct rigorous system testing (e.g., unit testing, integration testing) to validate configurations and functionalities.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve issues encountered during testing and post-go-live.
  • Thoroughly document all testing activities and resolutions.
  • User Training & Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for end-users to ensure effective adoption of the new SAP functionalities.
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing queries and assisting with system usage.
  • Documentation Preparation: Prepare all necessary project documentation, including AS IS process documents, TO BE process documents, Fit-Gap analysis reports, detailed Configuration documents, Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and logic documents.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Mandatory Skills: SAP PP QM (Production Planning and Quality Management).
  • Domain: Process Industry (highly desirable).
  • Experience: (Implicitly based on typical implementation project roles) Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM modules for implementation projects.
  • Proven experience in Business Process Analysis, Fit-Gap Analysis, Configuration, Implementation, Integration, Testing, Troubleshooting, User Training, and Documentation.
  • Desired/Secondary Skills: Excellent Communication skills.
  • Positive and proactive Attitude.

Additional Information:

  • Max Vendor Rate: Rs.10,000 - Rs.13,000 per day (excluding service tax).
  • Background Check: Before Onboarding.
