Role – SAP PP (S/4HANA Support)

Position: SAP PP + QM Support Consultant

Experience: 4–10 years

Location: Hyderabad

Mode: Full-time

Role Overview

The SAP PP + QM Support Consultant will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Quality Management processes. The role includes issue resolution, master data validation, configuration adjustments, process improvements, and coordination with cross-functional teams such as Production, Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, and Costing.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning (PP)

- Provide L1 & L2 support for PP issues.

- Support Planned Orders, Production Orders, Order Confirmation & Backflush.

- Troubleshoot BOM, Routing, Work Center, and Production Version issues.

- Support Capacity planning & shop floor scheduling.

- MRP & MRP Live troubleshooting (MD01N).

- Support WIP, variances, and order settlement related issues.

- Validate and maintain PP master data (Material Master – MRP views, BOM, Routing, Production Versions).

Cross-Functional Responsibilities

- Coordinate with MM, WM/EWM, CO, and SD teams for integrated issue resolution.

- Perform configuration corrections, testing, and documentation.

- Prepare functional specs for enhancements and change requests.

- Collaborate with ABAP team for debugging.

- Support month-end processes (WIP, variances, quality postings, confirmations).

- Conduct end-user training and prepare SOPs.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PP & QM modules.

- Experience with Production Orders, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Versions.

- Knowledge of inspection lots, UD, RR, in-process and raw material inspections.

- Good understanding of Batch Management, shelf-life, and component consumption.

- Experience with FIORI apps for PP & QM.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of SAP MM processes (procurement, inventory, batch).

- Experience in FMCG/process manufacturing industries.

- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.

- Experience with IDocs, interfaces, and MES systems.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field. SAP PP/QM certification is an added advantage.
