Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP PP ePPDS Consultant with strong expertise in
SAP S/4HANA Production Planning, Embedded PPDS, manufacturing process optimization, and cross-module integration.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
end-to-end implementations, rollouts, production planning process design, advanced scheduling, and shop-floor integration, with the ability to deliver scalable planning solutions in manufacturing environments.
This role requires strong functional knowledge in
core PP along with ePPDS-based advanced planning and scheduling processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support SAP S/4HANA PP implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects
- Configure and optimize end-to-end production planning business processes
- Work extensively on:
- Repetitive Manufacturing (REM)
- Discrete Manufacturing
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Embedded PPDS (ePPDS)
- Engineering Change Management (ECM)
- Supply Chain Planning (SCP)
- Drive advanced planning and detailed scheduling solutions using ePPDS
- Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams to ensure process integration
- Support SAP and non-SAP shop floor/MES system integrations
- Participate in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing, deployment, hypercare, and support
- Work closely with technical teams for solution design and issue resolution
- Engage in stakeholder communication, workshops, and business improvement initiatives

- Strong functional experience in SAP S/4HANA PP implementations or rollouts

Embedded PPDS (ePPDS) — Mandatory- Strong hands-on project experience in Embedded PPDS / SAP S/4HANA PPDS

- Order Scheduling Optimization
Manufacturing Process Expertise
Mandatory Exposure In
- Repetitive Manufacturing (REM)
- Discrete Manufacturing
Project Exposure- Minimum:
- 1 End-to-End SAP PP Implementation
- 1 or more Rollout / Enhancement Projects
- Experience in requirement gathering, business process mapping, UAT, go-live, and support
Cross Module Integration
Strong Integration Exposure With
- SAP MM
- SAP FICO
- SAP QM
- SAP PS
- SAP SD
- SAP EWM
MES / External System Integration
- Exposure to SAP–MES or non-SAP manufacturing integrations
- Knowledge of APIs / IDocs / middleware-based interface flows
Tools & Delivery Governance
- Working exposure to SAP Solution Manager / HP ALM / Jira
- Good understanding of SAP implementation methodologies
⭐ Preferred / Good To Have Skills
Candidates with the following will be highly preferred:
- SAP S/4HANA PP Certification
- Basic ABAP debugging understanding
- Strong experience in SAP PP–EWM integration
- Exposure to Continuous Business Improvement initiatives
- Presales / workshop support capability
